It may seem strange to call a man who has won multiple Super Bowls, multiple MVP awards, and is appearing in his 6th AFC Title Game in just his 6th NFL season underrated, but Dan Patrick believes that to be the case. It seems crazy to say out loud, but not since Tom Brady have we seen a quarterback this clutch in big games.
Dan Patrick: “Patrick Mahomes is underrated. He is. He’s underrated... Winning a game, a big game, an important game, a playoff game, on the road; I never, ever doubted Patrick Mahomes. Now, I can doubt the Kansas City Chiefs. I can doubt some of their receivers, maybe Andy Reid with some of his decisions. But when it comes back to the common denominator, the bottom line, it’s Patrick Mahomes.”
