Citing NBA superstars Steph Curry and Kawhi Leonard, Charles Barkley told The Dan Patrick Show that staying in college a couple of extra years isn't a bad idea.

Despite the massive pressures for young talent to get out of college and enter the pros quickly, Barkley said it doesn't benefit a player's career much. In fact, Barkley said the people closest to the player push them to turn pro so they can get their hands on some of that money.

"Your family and friends and your agent, they're scumbags," Barkley said. "They just want your cash."
