Howard Beck is not one for 'hot take' type journalism, but he called the DeMarcus Cousins trade the "sanest move the Kings have made in years."
Not only is "powder keg" Cousins a locker room liability, but there are stories that still haven't seen the light of day regarding just how disruptive he was to the Kings locker room. According to Beck, one reputable NBA GM (who will probably be in the playoffs) said that he wouldn't take Cousins for free just because of his negative impact to a roster.
