The Golden State Warriors face elimination tonight as they face the Los Angeles Lakers and it strikes Doug as very similar to a legendary rock band on their last concert tour. If they are sent packing, it is highly unlikely they would be able to keep enough of their core roster together to rebuild on the fly and remain competitive in the near future. It’s been a rocky season throughout and a 2nd round exit may signal the end of their dynasty.
Doug Gottlieb: “Is tonight the last night we see the Warriors? I think the Warriors win tonight, but man a loss tonight feels like the last tour, the last album, just kind of thrown together. You’re like, ‘What were they doing here? What were they thinking?’”
