This article from REAL GM provides some very telling insight as to how LaVar Ball operates behind the scenes. Sure we see the WWE performances and controversial statements about footspeed, but the things we don't know are more than likely the things that actually define the man.
Something as simple as this, awareness about the bigger picture and understanding of what Lonzo needs to progress in his career, show a father. It shows a compassionate character. It shows a human being.
Lonzo and the Lakers happened. He is on the team. LaVar had a TON to do with that.
At this point, can you think of anything really bad he has done?
