When Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz left Sunday's game early due to injury, fans around the country feared the worst. Today, those fears were confirmed. Wentz will not play again this season due to a torn ACL. In his stead, Nick Foles will lead the Eagles in their highly-anticipated playoff race.
Steve and Jeffrey Gorman, however, are not so quick to doubt the perennial backup. We've seen him succeed before in the city of brotherly love, and the Eagles are talented enough to make a Super Bowl run without their MVP-worthy quarterback.
