Kobe Bryant Wants To Win The Break-Up

On Monday, Kobe Bryant was honored by the Lakers at halftime of their game against the Warriors by having both of his jersey's retired. He gave an elegant speech that captivated all of Staples Center in one of the few appearances he's made since hanging it up nearly two years ago.

One reason Kobe Bryant is unique to compared to other NBA greats is his lack of desire to remain involved in the sport of basketball after his career is over. Kobe is determined to make as much money as possible as a venture capitalist with his hands in numerous different areas. He doesn't want to be a TV Analyst or even an owner of an NBA franchise, he wants to win the break-up. He may not have been able to top Michael Jordan on the court, but he will do whatever it takes to become the ultimate champion away from it.

The Jason Smith Show can be heard on Fox Sports Radio Monday through Friday 8-11 PM PT.
