Rick Pitino Uncut: "This will probably be the last show I'll ever do"

“I’ve never given a player five dollars in my lifetime, and never will. I don’t believe in it; I believe in working your tail off to be a great basketball player the likes of Terry Rozier, Donovan Mitchell, Gorgui Dieng, and Russ Smith.”

Former Louisville coach Rick Pitino joined The Dan Patrick Show in an exclusive interview to explain why his career unfairly deteriorated overnight, as the once legendary Hall of Fame coach is now one of the most toxic names in college basketball.

Currently entangled in one of the biggest scandals in college athletics involving not only a former recruit reportedly getting paid $100,000 to attend the University of Louisville, but alleged ‘Stripper Parties’ being at the forefront of the programs’ recruiting trips for high school prospects, Pitino admonished the bogus accusations levied against him and says lie-detector tests prove his claims of having zero knowledge of the illicit chain of events.

Pitino says he firmly believes his name will be fully cleared of the charges when the FBI investigation yields its final results, but admits his reputation in the public's eye will be irreparably ruined.
