LeBron's Legacy Is Safe...For Now

It didn't take long for a mural of LeBron James, proudly donning a Lakers jersey, to get defaced by delusional L.A. fans. "King James" will undoubtedly face an uphill battle winning over a fan base who refuses to praise one of the game's greatest players for choosing their iconic franchise. But while his mural may have been tarnished, LeBron has no plans of damaging his legacy while playing for the Lakers.

Jason Smith and Mike Harmon believe that LeBron should be fearful of the repercussions his legacy will face if he doesn't bring a championship to the city of Los Angeles. Expectations are always high in L.A. and it's no different when a Hall of Famer chooses to spend the end of his prime in a city defined by all-time greats.
