Is Derek Carr's Career at a Crossroads?

“What has happened to Derek Carr? Something has gone on with him that has made his failure mental… it doesn’t make sense that suddenly NFL defenses have figured Carr out.”

-- ClayTravis.

After his pathetic 10.9 QBR game versus the Rams Monday night in which he threw three INTs and zero touchdowns, a lot of Raiders fans are increasingly worried that former MVP candidate Derek Carr might be suffering from more than just a transitional stretch of his career.

Carr had the best year of his career in 2016 when he threw for nearly 4,000 yards with a TD-INT ratio of 28/6, but had his season ruined by a broken fibula in a Week 16 that cost the Raiders a chance at making the playoffs. A year later in 2017, he threw just 22 TD's with 13 INT's and had a passer rating 10 points fewer than the previous season.

Listen to Clay Travis and the crew discuss the rapid decline of Derek Carr and why they think his devastating leg injury in 2016 may have created some sort of psychological block that he can't quite overcome.
