Serena Stole Away The Excitement

Serena Stole The Excitement

After two days of NFL and College football coverage, Clay Travis gets to scrutinize the Serena Williams meltdown at the U.S. Open. Serena was given three code violations during the title match with Naomi Osaka, the third of which resulted in Serena being deducted a game. Williams had furious exchanges with umpire Carlos Ramos, she smashed her racket and called Ramos "a thief." After the match Serena accused the sport of double standards because she is a woman, and a mom.

Clay Travis says the truth is that Serena was wrong and actually hurt another woman (Osaka), by stealing Naomi's championship excitement away, and that the sports media were lap dogs for Serena after the match.
