It's Hard to Justify Zion Williamson Continuing to Play

Listen to Clay Travis explain why he would find it extremely difficult as a hypothetical parent of Zion Williamson to not do everything in his power to convince his son to stop playing at Duke ASAP.

The freshman phenom seemingly avoided a knee catastrophic when his Nike shoe exploded in the team’s loss to North Carolina on February 20th, but Clay believes if we had seen a Shaun Livingston type injury occur instead it would have cost Zion the no. 1 pick and a significant portion of the prime years of his pro career.

Check out the audio below as Clay says there’s a 100% chance that Zion goes no. 1 overall if he never plays at Duke again, so why even make the chances drop to 99% by continuing to play in college when you’d be potentially jeopardizing $100 million in the pros?
