It's been reported today by NFL's Ian Rapoport that quarterback, Nick Foles will not be franchise tagged and is now a free agent. Foles led the Philadelphia Eagles to the 2018 Super Bowl and defeated the New England Patriots.
His career has been filled with several ups and downs. Injuries to Eagles' QB Carson Wentz has given Foles opportunities to shine especially during the playoffs but Foles hasn't proven to be the most reliable player during the season. Still, he may have value around the league for many teams that are starved for an experienced quarterback at either the starting or backup position.
