Around this time of year, the young NFL prospects come together to demonstrate what they're bringing to the table at the NFL Combine in hopes of improving their NFL Draft position. You've got players lifting incredible weight, to players with insane body fat percentages, quarterbacks with killer arms, or guys running an insanely fast 40-yard dash. Does it mean anything in the long run? There are several examples of players having a pretty average Combine who go on to be pro bowlers. There are examples of guys who annihilate the Combine who go on to have average to even awful careers.
Dan Patrick makes this abundantly clear in his take below as he talks about how ridiculous the NFL Combine questions can be for these young prospects including why the numbers don't necessarily matter.
