Listen to Colin Cowherd explain how LeBron James may surpass Michael Jordan by a wide margin in statistics, as he needs just 13 points Wednesday night to pass MJ in all-time points, but tells us how LeBron will NEVER be anywhere near the player MJ was at 40 years old.
Colin tells a story of how he saw Jordan play in Portland live and in-person in 2003 during MJ’s final NBA season on the Washington Wizards. He said MJ scored 25 points on 11/19 shooting with 7 assists in 41 minutes and was by far the best player on the court. Colin said it was one of the most remarkable and unbelievable moments of his life to be in attendance that night.
Check out the audio below as Colin admits that he spends a lot of his shows gawking over LeBron’s superior play, but wants to make it clear that King James will NEVER be the player at 40 that MJ was.
