Signing Le'Veon Bell Got Mike Maccagnan Fired

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why the New York Jets were right to fire general manager Mike Maccagnan on Wednesday, and says the front office and new Jets head coach Adam Gase just couldn’t get over the team signing former Steelers All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell to a four-year, $52 million deal in March.

Gase was reportedly ‘absolutely’ against the team signing the diva running back to a big deal, with long term running back deals now considered greatly taboo in this modern era and with draftable running backs a dime a dozen.
