Report: Jalen Ramsey Wants Out of Jacksonville, Requests Jaguars Trade Him

Jacksonville Jaguars v Miami Dolphins

One of the game's best elite defensive players, Jalen Ramsey, is reportedly asking to be traded off the Jacksonville Jaguars, as television cameras picked up Ramsey trying to fight head coach Doug Marrone on the sidelines during their 13-12 loss versus the Houston Texans in Week 2.

Ramsey is a two-time Pro Bowler in 2017 and 2018 and was a first team All-Pro in 2017.

Ramsey signed a four-year, $23 million deal as a rookie coming out of Florida State in 2016, and has quickly emerged as arguably the NFL's best cornerback.

The fourth-year pro will earn $3.6 million this season, and $13.7 million next season as a part of his fifth year option being picked up, but Ramsey has demanded he get a new deal before he becomes an unrestricted free agent in 2021.

Ramsey showed up to Jaguars training camp in a Brinks armoured bank truck, while a hype man stepped out of the back of the truck holding up a megaphone yelling "YOU ALL KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS. TIME TO GET THAT MONEY", with Ramsey then emerging holding gym bags full of cash.

Miami Dolphins' defender Xavien Howard is currently the league's highest cornerback after signing a five-year deal worthy $75,250,000 in the offseason.
