Colin Kaepernick is Reportedly Itching to Return to the NFL ASAP

2019 US Open - Day 4
Source Close to Colin Kaepernick: “Colin is literally in the best shape of his life. He’s been working out 5 days a week at 5am for three years. He wants to play and his agent has been contacting teams in need of a quarterback.”

Listen to Chris Broussard and Rob Parker discuss the recent reports that allege Colin Kaepernick’s agent has been contacting NFL teams in need of quarterback depth, and that his client wants to make a return to the NFL.

Kaepernick, of course, has not appeared in an NFL game since 2016, and at one time was suing the league for collusion.

With the league suffering an abnormally exorbitant amount of catastrophic injuries at the quarterback position this season, including lengthy prognoses to Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Nick Foles, being coupled with Andrew Luck’s retirement and Sam Darnold’s mono, there have been a handful of backup quarterback positions that have come open.

Chris and Rob fully believe Kaepernick wants to play in the NFL, despite many around the sport arguing he’s a lot more valuable of a commodity as a symbol injustice and insurgency, and an individual whose brand shines brighter if he keeps playing the blackballing card.

Check out the audio below as Rob and Chris debate which teams would make sense for Kaepernick and if they realistically believe he will ever play in the NFL again.
