Patriots Release Antonio Brown After 13 Days, Six Practices, and One Game

New England Patriots v Miami Dolphins

One of the most tumultuous tenures in sports history is officially over after just 13 days as the New England Patriots released Antonio Brown on Friday afternoon.

Brown had signed with the Patriots on September 7th just hours after being cut by the Oakland Raiders, but was on the receiving end of cataclysmic PR disasters ever since, including being accused of rape by his former trainer.

Brown had suited up for the Patriots in their Week 2 43-0 blowout over the Miami Dolphins and had caught four passes for 56 yards, including a 20-yard touchdown strike from Tom Brady.
