Should Fans Always Return Milestone Home Run Balls To Players?

In June of 2018, Albert Pujols hit his 639th career home run to give him 2,000 RBI's in his storied career. The fan who caught the ball in Detroit recently donated the ball to Cooperstown to honor his late son, where the ball will reside alongside a memorial to the child and a tribute to the people of Detroit. Rob Parker, while acknowledging the significance of the ball to the fan, feels that the ball belongs to Pujols, and fans should always hand over historic home run balls to the athletes.
