Chris Broussard Says LeBron James Owes Daryl Morey an Apology

Los Angeles Lakers v Brooklyn Nets - NBA China Games 2019
Chris Broussard: “LeBron needs to come out and apologize to Daryl Morey and saw ‘Look, I myself, was not really informed or educated on what was going on in China but now I’ve done some reading and talked to some people and have found out what’s going on over there’. If he wanted to get this stain off his record it would take something like this… LeBron’s legacy will still view him as a great businessman who empowered his childhood friends and was a little conscientious of views in Americans, but he won’t be viewed as any great social justice warrior like Ali or Kaepernick. He leans towards being like Jordan more than being like Ali.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to Chris Broussard explain why LeBron James and his PR team need to go through some damage control after LeBron surprisingly bashed Rockets GM Daryl Morey in the only public statement he made when speaking on the NBA’s disastrous run-in with crooked Chinese ideals.

LeBron looked like a shell of his former self when he called out Morey for the ‘downsides of the first amendment’, even though we're normally accustomed to LeBron being one of the biggest advocates against oppression and injustices of any pro athlete on earth.

Chris says LeBron needs to publicly apologize to Morey as soon as possible to win back basketball fans, as the statement from LeBron followed by the tone-deaf ensuing tweets made LeBron absorb nearly unanimous public discord for the first time in his career.

Check out the audio below as Broussard details why LeBron will never be like Muhammad Ali when it comes to becoming the ‘Global Icon’ that LeBron once said he desired to be, and says he’s much closer to Michael Jordan – a guy routinely criticized for going the route of businessman over advocate.
