Memphis' James Wiseman Now ELIGIBLE to Play After Filing Restraining Order

After ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke news that Memphis phenom freshman James Wiseman was going to be deemed ineligible for the 2019/2020 by the NCAA for accepting thousands of dollars in moving expenses from Penny Hardaway in 2018, NBA insider of The Athletic and Stadium Shams Charania is reporting a complete 180, and now saying Wiseman is eligible to play immediately, according to lawyers.

Charania shockingly tweeted: "Potential No. 1 NBA pick James Wiseman is now eligible to play for Memphis, pending further legal proceedings, attorney Leslie Ballin tells @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium."

Wojnarowski then rung in again minutes after the Charania drop, tweeting: "Memphis gets emergency restraining order allowing Wiseman to play against UIC tonight."

Stay tuned for more details regarding the bizarre story that has the NCAA at the forefront of another PR nightmare just hours after college football’s best player Chase Young was suspended at Ohio State.
