Terrell Owens on Jason Garrett: "I Hope Jerry Boots Him Up On Out of There"

Washington Redskins v Dallas Cowboys
Terrell Owens: “I have no good parting words for Jason Garrett, and I hope Jerry boots him up out of there and let the door hit him where the good Lord split him.” (Full Audio at Bottom of Page)

Listen to former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens join The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker to discuss Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett’s likely banishment with the franchise, as Garrett’s impending firing seems like a forgone conclusion at this point.

Garrett has been the head coach of the Cowboys since 2010, but overlapped with Owens in 2007 and 2008 when Garrett was the offensive coordinator under former Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips.

Owens certainly had some choice words for Garrett, telling Broussard and Parker that he still believes Garrett, Tony Romo, and Jason Witten ‘conspired’ with ownership against Owens to get him cut from the team after the 2008 season. Owens has said he was completely blindsided by his release from the team in March of 2009, and said he was still under contract fully believing he would be playing in the newly built ‘Jerry’s World’, as AT&T Stadium would open the next season.

Owens told Parker and Broussard that current Cowboys players don’t respect Garrett whatsoever, and said that the teams’ failures directly correlate with Garrett’s empty leadership abilities.

Check out the revealing audio below as Owens says he hopes Jerry Jones kicks Garrett to the curb.
