Listen to respected Fox Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer detail to Jason Smith and Mike Harmon where potential free agent quarterback Tom Brady could be taking his talents in what could be the most compelling signing in NFL history.
In August of 2019, Brady signed an unusual extension with the Patriots that included a provision that barred New England from franchise tagging Brady after the season, thus making Brady an unrestricted free agent on the open market no matter what.
With New England deteriortating down the stretch of the season, including ugly losses to the lowly Dolphins in Week 17, and an air ball at home versus a Ryan Tannehill led 9-7 Titans team in the Wild Card Round, many around the league believe Brady might jump ship on a Patriots dynasty that appears to be sinking rapidly.
Brady has notably always told the media that he plans on playing until he’s 45, which would naturally be three more seasons for Brady to try and potentially win another Super Bowl elsewhere, alla Peyton Manning in the mid-2010’s with the Denver Broncos.
Check out the interview above as Jay details what teams make the most sense as desired landing spots for Brady, who seems sternly adamant about not retiring.
