Former Player: Tom Brady Wants to Leave Patriots, Play With Antonio Brown

New England Patriots vMiami Dolphins
TJ Houshmandzadeh: “Every quarterback is a ‘system quarterback’ and next year we’re really going to find out because Tom Brady won’t be there [New England]”
Doug Gottlieb: “He won’t be there??”
Houshmandzadeh: “No, ZERO PERCENT chance. Door closed… I believe he wants to go to warm weather, and he wants Antonio Brown to come with him.” (Full Interview at Bottom of Page)

Listen to former NFL wide receiver TJ Houshmandzadeh join The Herd with Colin Cowherd (Doug Gottlieb guest-hosting) to explain why he thinks NFL free agent phenomenon Tom Brady will leave New England this offseason.

Housmandezaeh was alluding to a segment Fox Sports analyst Bucky Brooks had that was trying to brand Brady as a ‘System Quarterback’. Houshmandzadeh said that particular opinion would be put to the test next year when Brady was on another team, and said there was ‘zero percent chance’ he would be back with the team, as a shocked Gottlieb couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

Not only did Houshmandzadeh say that Brady is looking to play somewhere with ‘warm weather’, but then he dropped another bomb saying that Brady wants to play with Antonio Brown, who is currently in football exile, and potentially in real lockup if his recent clash with the law turns ugly.

Brady and Brown reportedly had a close friendship in the short time Brown spent with the team in September, and Brady was allegedly vehemently against Patriots owner Robert Kraft releasing Brown as sexual misconduct allegations starting to pile up against AB.
