James Harden Says Giannis Antetokounmpo's Game Requires 'No Skill At All'

James Harden: “I wish I could just run and be 7 feet and just dunk. I actually have to learn how to play basketball and have skill. I’ll take that any day.”

In an awkward interview with ESPN’s Rachel Nichols, former NBA MVP James Harden took it zero to 100 when taking offense to sarcastic comments reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo made during a Live TNT telecast of the NBA All-Star Game draft.

With three picks left in the draft, ‘Team Giannis’ had Kemba Walker, Trae Young, and Harden available to pick. Giannis selected Walker and jokingly muttered with a grin ‘I want someone who is gonna pass the ball.’

When Nichols addressed the aforementioned segment when Harden, Harden wasn’t laughing and quickly got defensive, telling Nichols ‘I averaged more assists than than him [Kemba Walker]… So I don’t get what the joke is.”

Harden then dumped napalm on Giannis, calling out his actual basketball talents past his physical gifts saying, ‘I wish I could just run and be 7 feet and just dunk. I actually have to learn how to play basketball and have skill. I’ll take that any day.’

Fans on Twitter quickly uploaded videos documenting a possible unspoken beef between Harden and Giannis that has been going on ever since Giannis entered the league in 2014.
