NBA MVP Voter Chris Broussard Explains Why He's Voting Giannis Over LeBron

Colin Cowherd: “LeBron is MY MVP but you’re all in on Giannis?”
Chris Broussard: “Listen, LeBron is having a phenomenal season, the greatest 17th season we’ve ever seen… BUT, is it so clear-cut that Giannis is the MVP. I’m a voter and here are the three-main criteria. Individual stats – Giannis has LeBron beat in the traditional numbers, and Giannis has the highest PER, Player Efficiency Rating, IN HISTORY. Hiring than Wilt ever did, higher than Jordan ever had, and higher than LeBron ever had. So offensively he’s got all the numbers, plus defensively he’s arguably the best defensive player on the best defensive team. He’s also got team success – they’re on pace to win 71 games. The only two teams to ever win more than that are Golden State in 2016 and the Bulls in 1996. The Bulls had three Hall of Famers and the Warriors had at least two in Klay and Steph, and probably a third with Draymond. Giannis has Khris Middleton. With all due respect to Middleton, who is a nice All-Star, he has no second star, and they’re still winning at all-time high, and winning by almost 13 points per game, HIGHER THAN ANY TEAM IN HISTORY.” (Full Video Above)
