Cowboys Plan to Offer Dak Prescott $33 Million per Year

Dallas Cowboys v San Francisco 49ers

According to reports, the Cowboys plan to offer Dak Prescott $33 million per year. Doug Gottlieb thinks the two sides need to come to an agreement sooner than later. A team-friendly deal must be the priority because Dak Prescott can not lead the Cowboys by himself:

"The only thing holding Dak Prescott back from signing life-changing money is that he wants to make a dollar more or a couple of dollars more than Carson Wentz and Jared Goff...I almost feel like Dak Prescott is going to go from this massively underpaid quarterback in the NFL to a guy who is the MOST OVERPAID quarterback in the NFL. We have seen Dak without Ezekiel Elliot when Zeke was out for 6 games and it did not work out. We've seen Dak without Amari Cooper and it did not work out. It doesn't mean that he stinks. It doesn't mean he's not more than capable of leading the Cowboys. But he cannot lead the cowboys by himself."
