Colin Cowherd: Aaron Rodgers is Not Loved and Supported in Green Bay

Colin Cowherd: “A lot of people are saying that GreenBay drafted Aaron Rodgers when Favre was still good… NO, no, no, no, different situation. There were arguments that Rodgers could have maybe been the best player in the Draft and the number one pick. He FELL to Green Bay. Jordan Love is a DEBATABLE first round quarterback and they traded up over teams that weren’t going to take him. This is NOT the same thing... Happiness matters for a quarterback and Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson feel supported. Aaron is the one taking these beating in games against San Francisco. I’ve always thought that the Aaron Rodgers/Green Bay relationship was a weird fit. He’s this good looking, Hollywood, cool, and glamorous guy in the NFL’s smallest and least glamorous market… This is Joe Namath in Buffalo.. Peyton Manning always felt loved in Indy – when they let him go they cried and he cried. Drew Brees feels LOVED. Sam Darnold is a baby and not even winning games and they love him. Aaron Rodgers doesn’t seem loved and doesn’t seem supported.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he didn’t understand Green Bay’s selection of Utah State quarterback Jordan Love, as the Packers not only made arguably the biggest reach at pick no. 26, but also traded up for the pick no less.

Check out the video above as Colin details why he thinks Aaron Rodgers should obviously be pissed about the pick, but also why it seems like the organization and fan base have never been as supportive with Rodgers as most teams are with their franchise quarterback.
