Brady Quinn: “If we’re going to go ahead and say that the Packers have done this before [drafting Aaron Rodgers while having Brett Favre], and say that they know what they’re doing, to me you’re nuts. I don’t think you understand that the people who are making the calls now have not built up that equity yet, and haven’t built up your trust enough to be able to do something like that… It’s bizarre and it’s crazy, and it might set back their franchise for a decade. This might be one of the worst moves that we’ve seen in a long time and it doesn’t even have anything to do with them drafting Jordan Love. It’s the fact that they didn’t even draft a wide receiver in a deep draft where they could have found value in the sixth round. It boggles my mind the way they handled this draft considering what was there.” (Full Audio Above)
Listen to former NFL quarterback and Fox Sports Radio host Brady Quinn rip the Green Packers for their execution during the 2020 NFL Draft, which saw the team not only reaching to take Utah State quarterback Jordan Love, but also skipping out on drafting a wide receiver in one of the best wide receiver drafts ever.
Check out the audio above as Quinn says this Draft could set the Packers franchise back a decade, and go down as one of the worst drafts any team has ever had in league history.
