Tom Brady Finally Plays For a Franchise that Supports and Appreciates Him

Colin Cowherd: “Boy, is this a charmed life. Do you know what Tampa needs is a really good right tackle – oh wait, the best offensive lineman who dropped out of the top 10 is there, Tristan Wirfs, at number 13!… Right now, Tampa is giving Tom everything he didn’t have. He’s having fun, he’s got a loose coach, he’s got weapons, he’s got warm weather, and he’s got a staff that is obviously listening to him. I don’t think it was a little thing that the Chargers aggressively went and got two offensive linemen in free agency. It was a message to Tom… Tom never ever felt like he had a say in a personnel decision – he said it before, ‘ehh, they don’t ask me.’ Tom right now feels supported, and all the boxes are being checked in Tampa that weren’t checked in New England. I bet Jason Licht, the general manager, had an hour phone call and he said ‘listen, Tom, we need a right tackle, and this is who is going to be our first pick.’ You think Belichick is telling Tom who his first pick is going to be?? NO. He wanted fun, he wanted weapons, and he wanted to be heard on personnel, and BOOM, now he is.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Tom Brady finally found a happy home with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as Cowherd believes Tampa offers Brady the fun, loose, accommodating, and considerate backdrop that Brady never received in New England under Bill Belichick.

Check out the video above as Colin says Tampa Bay has given Brady everything that New England couldn’t, and it really highlighted the sole reason he left the Patriots in the first place.
