Clay Travis is joined by NASCAR insider Shannon Spake, following yesterday's race at Talladega. The race itself was a wild finish, but the major story following the event at Talladega Superspeedway involved Bubba Wallace, the lone black driver in NASCAR, and an apparent noose that was found in his garage by a crew member.
Obviously, there was a ton of outrage following this story, and a lot of support was shown to Wallace by the other drivers and crew members, as they all stood up for Wallace and walked with him as they collectively pushed his No. 43 car during the pre-race activities.
As far as the noose, there are obviously questions that need to be answered, and Clay was able to get excellent information from Shannon. Were there cameras in the garage? Could the noose have been a part of the rope that is used in the garages to help open and close the door? Should we expect a swift follow-up statement from NASCAR?
Shannon gives Clay and the audience really valuable insight during the interview, helps lay out details about the Talladega track, how many people could be possible suspects in this, the FBI's involvement, and much more.
It was an incredible display of unity by Bubba Wallace's fellow drivers and crew members before the race, and hopefully we will all get some answers today about the noose that was discovered in Wallace's garage. If it was a hate crime, Clay calls for severe punishment.
