Colin Cowherd Ranks His Top 10 NBA Duos at Orlando's 'Bubble'

10. Rudy Gobert/Donovan Mitchell

“It’s the best defensive duo. Gobert is one of the best defensive players in the league, and Donovan Mitchell at Louisville was a defensive player before he was ever an offensive star. They’ve played over 1,600 minutes together, which is second most of any duo in the bubble, and they have outscored opponents by 6 points game when those two are on the floor. Gobert is a wildly underrated player and gives them so many advantages defensively.”

9. Jimmy Butler/Bam Adebayo

“Butler has had a great year. We thought he wasn’t going to get along with anyone down there, but he has career highs in rebounds and assists per game, and averaging over 9 free throws. When Bam and Butler are on the floor they’re a little less effectively defensively, but they score 5.5 more points than their opponents.”

8. Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum

“Totally offensive and not a ton of defense – the opposite of Utah. Lillard is averaging 29 a game, and outside of Steph Curry, he’s the best shooter in the game. Dame is the best shooter in the bubble and he’s an all-time offensive threat. Him and Steph are the only two guys in the league who can shoot from everywhere. McCollum, similarly, is a very good offensive player. They’re not a great defensive backcourt, and they’re the only duo in the top 10 with a sub .500 record in games in which they both played.”
