NBA Needs to Admit They Blew the Kristaps Porzingis Ejection

Kristaps Porzingis Ejection Was a Ridiculous Joke
Jason Smith: “This is as incredibly weak as you’re going to see… I understand it’s day one of the playoffs and it's ‘we’re not going to let you guys run rampant over us’, and if this was an egregious foul I would get it, but this didn’t even affect Porzingis. This wasn’t a shove, Marcus Morris didn’t go down, there wasn’t a headbutt, an official didn’t go down, there was no cut, NOTHING. It was just a tiny shove. You can already see the storyline of Mark Cuban going ‘the league wants Lakers vs. Clippers in the Western Conference Finals!’… You’ve taken away the second best player on the Mavericks because of a weak and soft play. I would hope the league looks at this and goes ‘oh, man, we blew that.’ Would Anthony Davis have been thrown out for that?? Would Paul George have been thrown out for that?? You tell me some of the number two guys in the NBA who would have been thrown out on that – no way. It bothers me that this was the type of decision that was made by the referees. Porzingis wasn’t out of control, and you already gave him one.”
Mike Harmon: “Both technical fouls against Porzingis were a joke… He’s coming into the fray and it was a little bit of a shove to the chest. A grown man agitated and playing basketball. Nothing was happening. What a waste of an effort, waste of a first game, and a travesty inside the Bubble.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Jason Smith and Mike Harmon react to the shocking ejection of Kristaps Porzingis in Game 1 of the Mavericks’ 110 to 118 loss to the Clippers on Monday night, as the Mavericks All-Star was controversially tossed in the third quarter after picking up his second technical foul of the game.

Check out the segment above as Smith and Harmon mock the NBA officials on how ridiculous the decision was, and why they can already hear Dallas owner Mark Cuban making a fuss over the NBA wanting the Clippers and Lakers in the Western Conference Finals.
