Clay Travis Is Joined by WWE Champion Drew McIntyre Ahead of Summer Slam

Clay Travis is joined by WWE Champion Drew McIntyre on the program today, to discuss the weekend's Summer Slam and more. Clay asks Drew about his upbringing in Scotland and how he became the first ever WWE star from his home country.

Drew outlines the struggles he had to overcome to get to where he is today, including wrestling in front of literally zero fans early in his career.

Clay gives praise to the WWE as well. Early on in the Coronavirus pandemic, WWE showed incredible determination and imagination to continue to broadcast their events, while every other sport in America was shut down. Drew gives some details about how that whole process went, and laid out many of the challenges WWE faced during those early stages of the pandemic in April.

This weekend's Summer Slam event will absolutely be must watch television, and WWE champion Drew McIntyre will certainly be a huge part of that.
