Colin Cowherd: Clippers Game 2 Loss to Mavericks is Not a Big Deal At All

Colin Cowherd: “We live in a world of recency bias where everything that happened last night IS the world. The Clippers are going to beat the Mavericks in the series but they lost last night. The series is 1-1. They lost a playoff game, that means what? Did anyone think they were going to go undefeated throughout the playoffs?? Dallas has the best young player in the NBA, two top 25 players, a coach in Rick Carlisle who will get Hall of Fame votes, they have depth, and they finished 11 games over .500. Dallas is GOOD… The KD/Draymond/Steph/Klay Warriors were pushed to six games in the first round by these Clippers, and Kawhi and Paul George weren't there yet. That’s a dynasty. The ‘Heatles’ had 28 playoff losses and were pushed to seven games three times in the years they won the championship. You got no home court advantage which is obviously a big advantage to the underdogs… The favorites are sleeping through this thing because they have no juice.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he’s not remotely concerned about the Clippers’ Game 2 loss to the Mavericks to even their series at 1-1, as the NBA media and Twitterverse naturally freaked out from the loss, and began denouncing the Clippers as a fake title contender.

Check out the video above as Colin details why the loss is no big deal whatever, and fills in the average fan who is panicking that all great NBA champions lose playoff games, and this was simply a title team going through the motions of a home-court advantage-less Bubble.
