Typically in the playoffs, the losing team gets a bump up due to the zig-zag effect but the Lakers were actually downgraded from 6.5 to 6 point favorites following their loss to Denver in Game 3. Thanks to the lack of home court advantage, it's much easier to spot what the market is saying which is that there's not a big difference between these two teams due to Lakers outscoring Denver by an average of only 2 points this series.
