Colin Cowherd: Cowboys Are Same Mediocre Team They've Been For Years

Colin Cowherd: “What is the Cowboys’ identity? What are they? I know what they are NOT, but what are they?? This morning it’s official: Dallas is a ‘good’ team and Dak Prescott is a ‘good’ quarterback… They have all the qualities of a 'good' team. They fight really hard and never give up, they have some REALLY special players, and they have one great unit – damn, their wide receivers are unbelievable... But like the Raiders, and the Titans, and like the Colts, they just don’t have that special quarterback who can take you from ‘good’ to ‘GREAT’… Dallas is like a 3 stars out of 5 movie, like one of those Michael Bay movies. It certainly passes the time, and there are lots of explosions, but they won’t be handing out any awards for Michael Bay movies… Maybe at the Trade Deadline they pull something off, but we now know what they are – the exact same thing they were last year, and the year before… And the year before.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have already showed us that they’re the same Cowboys we’ve gotten accustomed to the last decade as the must-see TV ‘fun’ group of players that always underachieves, and never seems to be able to win big games to push themselves over the hump of ‘good’ to ‘GREAT.’

Check out the video above as Colin details why the Cowboys are once again the ‘almost’ team of the NFL.
