The Jets are a mess and Doug Gottlieb proposes a plan to lift them out of their ineptitude. The first part is correct, he does think they should be tanking for the first pick in the NFL Draft but only so they can trade down for multiple picks and load up on young talent. While Sam Darnold may be struggling, he’s not a bad QB and could thrive with some help on the roster, and the best way to accomplish that is to leverage the first pick to improve their roster overall.
