Rob Parker: Tom Brady and the 3-1 Bucs Are 'Fool's Gold'

Listen to Rob Parker and Chris Broussard debate the legitimacy of the 3-1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as Rob still doesn’t think Tom Brady and the revitalized Bucs are for real.

The Bucs are atop the NFC South by a full game over the Saints, but didn’t exactly woo the country in their 34-23 Week 1 loss in New Orleans that wasn't as close as the final score indicated. Since that game Tampa has reeled off three wins against the 2-2 Panthers, 1-3 Broncos, and 1-3 Chargers, who are all teams no one expects to be in the playoffs at season’s end.

Even though Tom Brady is coming off a five touchdown performance against the Chargers last Sunday, Rob is not buying the Bucs as a legitimate NFC contender than can challenge the Packers, Seahawks, 49ers, and Rams for the conference title, let alone the Saints in the NFC South.

Rob is already on record declaring Brady ‘washed up’, and predicting the Bucs miss the postseason, even during a season in which there will be an expanded playoffs of 7 teams per conference, instead of the usual 6.
