Cody Bellinger Discusses His Historic Home Run Robbing Catch vs. the Padres

Cody Bellinger joined David Vassegh to talk about his historic home run robbing catch in Game 2 of the National League Division Series vs. the division rival San Diego Padres.

In the top of the 7th inning on Wednesday night, Bellinger absolutely robbed Padres slugger Fernando Tatis Jr. of a two-run home run that would have propelled the Padres to a 5-4 lead.

Bellinger lept right near the 407 foot mark and caught Tatis’ ball, sparking a massive celebration on the field with Dodgers players, and in-turn inciting some activity in the Padres dugout, including Manny Machado actually walking out on the field yelling obscenities at the Dodgers players for over-celebrating the huge play.

The Dodgers would later hold on for a 6-5 victory in a nailbiter finish to take a commanding 2-0 lead in their best-of-5 series.
