Colin Cowherd: Dak Prescott Can't Overcome Adversity Like Great QB's Can

Colin Cowherd: “When Dak Prescott entered the league it was not real. It was like Fantasy Island. They had the best offensive line, the best young running back, his head coach had been an NFL quarterback, he had low expectations, and 2-3 teams in the division were rebuilding. This morning we found out that Tyron Smith, left tackle, is now out for the year. Oh wait, their right tackle is out for the year. Oh wait, their center, the Hall of Famer, is out forever. Dak is finally living in the REAL WORLD, like Joe Burrow and Sam Darnold. Now he’s got a bad offensive line, outdated coach, and his defense stinks. It didn’t stink his first couple years. Now the defense stinks, the defensive coordinator stinks, the locker room is not good – no Hall of Fame Jason Witten there… The question is now: can Dak take an outdated head coach, and bad defensive coordinator and win games? Yes, just not against really good teams… Dak was a little bit of a ‘Trust Fund Kid’ in the NFL, with Zeke, the offensive line, the non-yelling mentor head coach, and the defense. Dak had a really soft landing in the NFL, but now he’s dealing with junk and everything else people have to deal with… That’s what Russell can overcome, that’s what Aaron can overcome, that’s what Mahomes can overcome, but I don’t think that’s what Dak can overcome.” (Full Segment Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Dak Prescott, formerly a ‘Trust Fund Kid’ in the NFL, is finally dealing with the types of adversity that he’s never had to go through as a professional.

Check out the segment above as Colin details why the once pampered quarterback who got brought up with every single asset that a young quarterback would die to have, has gone on hard times with all those privileges suddenly taken away.
