Colin Cowherd: “If you don’t get Carson Wentz at this point, I’m OUT, I’m done with you. This kid is incredible. The Eagles have had 17 offensive players miss games, including 4 of the 5 offensive linemen. We're just starting the season and aren't even close to Thanksgiving! His record won’t show it, and his stats won’t show it, but he was unbelievable yesterday. He’s the anti-Aaron Rodgers. He’s all GUTS and he’s all FIGHT. He was missing his 3 best receivers yesterday and his three best offensive linemen and they got down big to heavily favored Baltimore. He then loses his best tight end Zach Ertz, and his best running back Miles Sanders, and then they come back and they fight, and if not for a lousy two-point conversion call by Doug Pederson, they tie the football game. This is the third year in a row that they have nothing to work with, and Wentz was just battling in that second half, and doing it with Travis Fulgham, who was a late-round draft pick out of Old Dominion by the Bears who cut him. I didn’t even know they had a football program. Philadelphia adds him and suddenly he’s Carson Wentz’s go-to guy. No other quarterback in the NFL was leading their team to the playoffs last year with what Carson Wentz had. This kid is all guts and all fight. He may not have the talent of a lot of quarterbacks you like, but all take that guy in my foxhole any day.” (Full Segment Above)
Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he think that Carson Wentz is the ‘anti-Aaron Rodgers’ and a quarterback who has as much ‘guts’ and ‘fight’ as any player in the NFL, as Colin believes Wentz can overcome practically anything when he comes to his team losing players by the masses to injury.
Check out the segment above as Colin details why he thinks Wentz can do MORE with LESS, than maybe any quarterback in football.
