Ravens Can No Longer Depend on Lamar Jackson

Ben Maller: “How concerned should Baltimore be with Lamar Jackson and his many problems? This was a key regular season matchup against a team perceived to be an ‘equal or better than’ team, the Steelers, and Lamar – as we have seen in those playoff games with ‘PLAYOFF LAMAR’ the mistake prone quarterback – was back. When he plays the top teams in the NFL, he holds a liquidation sale, ‘EVERYTHING MUST GO, you get the football! You get a football! You in the back gets a football! Everyone gets a football!’ You don’t need to be Adam Schefter or Jay Glazer to have known that Lamar Jackson, when the lights get cranked up, he gets cranked DOWN. It is not my opinion, it is a FACT… Until proven otherwise, the Ravens can no longer depend on Lamar Jackson to be a force multiplier, but they have no other options. He’s gotta be better, otherwise this entire house of cards is going to come tumbling down. This is an exercise in futility, and it’s been the same script over the last couple years. When Baltimore is playing the doormats of the NFL he is a mercifully destructive individual, and an overpowering force. Which is great until he transforms into the Hindenburg when it matters against a team like Pittsburgh or in the playoffs.”

Listen to Ben Maller explain why he thinks the Ravens can no longer count on Lamar Jackson to win them big games, as Maller believes ‘Playoff Lamar’ has defined Jackson not only in the postseason, but in big regular season games as well.

Check out the video above as Maller details why Jackson can only beat up on the ‘doormats’ of the NFL.
