Why this Will Be Aaron Rodgers' Last Season With the Packers

Jason Smith: “This is Aaron Rodgers’ ‘Blank You’ to the Packers. ‘You draft Jordan Love? OK, you’ll see what happens, and after this year let’s re-do some stuff and I’m going to be on a different team. You wanted him, I don’t care if you made a mistake, you wanted to push me out of Green Bay and I got YEARS left. I just watched Peyton Manning go win a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos, I’m watching Tom Brady go to a new team with weapons, and look at how well he’s playing. I’ve got more years left than Tom Brady. We will have our public divorce after this year.’ This is Rodgers’ ‘Blank You’ season, and everything is going on as planned… Rodgers is going to do whatever he needs to do to get to another team. He’s going to sit back and say ‘remember when you did all that stuff? Yeah, I don’t forget that. You wanted me gone, so now you’re going to see what life is like without me.’” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Jason Smith explain why he thinks Aaron Rodgers will jettison himself out of Green Bay after this season, still livid about the team drafting for Utah State quarterback Jordan Love in the first round of last season’s NFL Draft despite the team desperately needing to be reloaded at other positions.

Rodgers is having one of the best years of his career, leading the league in QBR, and on pace for 48 touchdowns and just 4 interceptions at the season’s halfway point (24/2).

Check out the audio above as Jason details why 2020 has been the ultimate ‘F*** You, Packers’ season from Rodgers, as Smith thinks Rodgers is having arguably his greatest season ever to point the middle finger at Green Bay for drafting Love. Smith says he believes it will eventually culminate in Rodgers forcing the team to move him this offseason, while he still holds a glowing grudge from Draft Day 2019.
