Seahawks Never Should Have Never Traded For Jamal Adams

Why the Seahawks Never Should Have Never Traded For Jamal Adams
Ben Maller: “Did the Seahawks make a fatal mistake in trading away all those draft picks for Jamal Adams? It didn’t seem like it at the time but now that we’ve watched half the season play out I think you’d say ‘Does a Zebra have stripes?’ YES. The Seahawks dug into the batter’s box and swung from the heels trying to hit a home run to the moon with this transaction. It was obviously an impulse purchase. Jamal Adams was stuck in a football Siberia wasteland with the Jets, and Pete Carroll thought he could save Jamal Adams the embarrassment of wearing that green and white clown costume. You have to pay him a decent contract down the line, and you also have to give up a premium in Draft capital. He was supposed to be the missing jigsaw puzzle piece, but that has backfired. This has turned out to be a debacle, and I don’t know how you get out of it. Maybe the Jets traded an imposter or a Jamal Adams lookalike.” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Ben Maller explain why he thinks the Jamal Adams trade between the Jets and Seahawks has been a complete disaster for Seattle, as the Seahawks gave the Jets two first round picks, and a second rounder only to see their pass defense rank dead last in the NFL in yards allowed the ensuing season.

Check out the audio above as Maller details how big of a debacle this trade has become, as even Adams and player coach Pete Carroll are already butting heads.
