Colin Cowherd: Cowboys Need to Cut Ties With Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy

Colin Cowherd: “The Cowboys have become the Lakers. It’s a big brand, it’s a family business, and they’ve got lots of trophies in the case when they walk by them every morning in the hallways... Those things reverberate. But then all of the sudden the Lakers said they needed to make a seismic move. Fire Magic, go get LeBron, and now they have championships again. Dallas has to make a seismic move, that’s why I don’t buy Dak as their long-term future. Dallas is suddenly SOFT, and is all in their feels. The 49ers got to a Super Bowl and led in a fourth quarter of a Super Bowl with Jimmy Garoppolo. The minute the Super Bowl was over, multiple sources were saying that they were on the phone looking for another quarterback. That’s the way the game works. Bill Belichick loved Tom Brady less after Super Bowl wins than Jerry loves Dak now. It’s nothing against Dak, there’s a place for him in the league. He puts up stats, but if you take out the Giants and the Washington Football Team, Dallas the last two years has five wins… I know they’re not comfortable with it, but they need to make a seismic move in this organization.” (Full Video Above)

Listen to Colin Cowherd explain why he thinks Jerry Jones needs to make a ‘seismic move’ to save the Cowboys organization from perpetual mediocrity, as Colin believes the first task for Jerry should be to cut ties with quarterback Dak Prescott and head coach Mike McCarthy after this season.

Check out the video above as Colin details why the Cowboys are in a state of Loser Denial like the Lakers were for a decade, before LA finally realized they needed to get LeBron James, and get rid of Magic Johnson.
