Rob Parker: Steelers Should Release Ben Roethlisberger After this Season

Rob Parker: “All the lucky breaks and all the lucky things that happened with the schedule FINALLY caught up with them… It was all FRAUDULENT from the beginning. They’re NOT good and they STINK. I don’t care how many wins they have. And Big Ben? He stinks to the high heavens! THAT’S why they weren’t going anywhere, and THAT’S why there was no buzz when they were 11-0. No one even gave them an inkling to say ‘well, maybe they could go…’ If the Steelers were really serious about winning this would be Big Ben’s last year. You don’t need to talk about retirement anymore, we’ll handle that for you. 'Thank you and here’s your parting gift of next year’s contract', and go get yourself a new quarterback. The Steelers are going nowhere with a broken-down jalopy named Big Ben.” (Full Audio Above)

Listen to Rob Parker continue to dance on the grave of the Pittsburgh Steelers two weeks and two losses after Rob had called them the ‘worst 11-0 team in NFL history.’

Not only does Rob think they’re going out in the first round of the playoffs, but he also thinks the Steelers should part ways with 38-year-old Ben Roethlisberger after this season. Roethlisberger has one year and $41 million left on his contract after this season, but the Steelers have a potential out where they would 'only' have to absorb $22 million of that money in dead cap.

Check out the video above as Parker details why that $22 million will be a nice retirement gift to Big Ben given by the Steelers.
