Doug Gottlieb boils down the Raiders’ issues, the main one being a terrible defense. They traded Khalil Mack away to get better personnel on that side of the ball but the Raiders are near the bottom of the league when it comes to some very important defensive statistics, and Jon Gurden deserves the blame. While Gruden may be an offensive mastermind, his inability to get his defense to perform is hurting his squad.
