Jared Goff Takes Swipe at Rams After Being Traded to Lions

On Saturday night, a big move shook up the NFL with a QB swap.

In a blockbuster trade, the Lions sent Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for the Rams' first-round draft picks in 2022 and 2023, a third-round pick in 2021, and quarterback Jared Goff. Stafford moves on from a Lions team he struggled to reach the postseason with to a Rams team led by coach Sean McVay that has advanced to at least the divisional round and once the Super Bowl two of the last three seasons.

After the trade went down, former Los Angeles Rams quarterback Jared Goff decided to take a subtle shot at the team that just traded him to the Detroit Lions. Here is what Michael Silver from the NFL Network said:

I spoke to Jared Goff after he was traded to the Lions. He told me, "I'm just excited to be somewhere that I know wants me and appreciates me."

Goff will have a chance to re-establish himself in Detroit under Campbell and new offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn.
